Piping Engineers for industrial and energy generation projects at TRACTEBEL-Engie Chile
TRACTEBEL-Engie Chile, is seeking Mechanical/Piping engineers to join our engineering team in Santiago in a hybrid scheme.
Responsibilities:
- Support inf the development piping engineering (hydraulic calculations, piping flexibility analysis, piping support selection, piping material selection, elaboration of datasheets and BOQ (bill of quantity).
- Piping projects are mainly for steam, condensate, compressed air, Gases, cryogenic gases (LNG, NH3, Liquid H2, Liquid CO2), Liquid fuels (Ethanol, E-gasoline), Molten salts, and cooling water.
- Develop industrial piping layout arrangements.
- Apply international standards such as ASME, ISO, ASTM, NFPA, API, EN.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with 5+ year experience with piping projects.
- English speaking and writing skills is appreciated.
- Familiarity with CAD/REVIT software is appreciated.
- Experience with piping stress/flexibility calculations is appreciated.
