Your mission
As an Electrical Engineer in our Nuclear Business Unit, you will manage the electrical power aspects for construction or renovation projects at nuclear power stations, especially for the Tihange site, across both nuclear and conventional electrical systems.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead design, renovation, and optimization studies for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Define ratings and technical specifications for equipment such as generators, transformers, motors, AC and DC boards, emergency systems, and cabling.
- Act as Contract Owner, managing tenders, bid analysis, negotiations, and contract awards for electrical equipment or services.
- Coordinate interfaces with other technical disciplines and client installations.
- Provide technical and commercial follow-up for contracts.
- Participate in factory acceptance and commissioning tests for electrical systems.
- Offer consulting expertise in electrical systems specific to nuclear generation units.

We would love to hear from people with
- Academic Qualifications: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years’ experience gained through substantial industry work.
- Technical Expertise: Proven skills in electrical systems design and safety, ideally within nuclear power environments, including knowledge of nuclear safety functions and classification.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities for addressing technical challenges in electrical power systems.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in French and English, with a good working knowledge of Dutch.
- Certifications: BA4 or BA5 certification and VCA qualification, or a willingness to obtain these credentials.
