Business Intelligence Analyst– Brussels, BE - 6 months
Work Environment
The Corporate Global Business Development & Marketing Department of Tractebel is looking for a (m/f) Business Intelligence Analyst Intern to reinforce their team. This position can be based is based in Brussels (Belgium).
Mission
- Leverage Tractebel industry and projects in the creation of custom reports focusing on the Energy, Water, Nuclear, Infrastructures markets (hydropower, water supply and sanitation, gas-to-x, hydrogen, T&D, energy systems, renewables…)
- Collect, gather, clean and analyze information and data relevant to the targeted markets - trends, competitor and customer monitoring, convert raw data into valuable insights and reports
- Draft custom reports (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) from quantitative and qualitative data sources.
- Participate in data analysis, project ideation and other activities that will help build knowledge and expertise about the market research process
- Interact with various departments including Energy, Water, Nuclear, Infrastructures markets Engineering, Business Development, Sales, Key Account Managers
- Contribute to projects and tasks of the Tractebel Corporate Global Business Development & Marketing Department

- Must be currently enrolled in University or “haute école”, pursuing a master’s degree (bac+4 or bac+5) in economics, business or engineering, data science or any other related degree
- Outlook, Word, Excel and PPT literacy is required
- Interest and strength in data segmentation, stewardship and analytics processes.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch or French
- Attention to detail a must
- Communicate well within the team environment
- Inquisitive nature, asking questions and have a willingness to learn
- Proficiency with using the internet as a research tool
- Keep to a schedule with deadlines
- Ability to work from Monday through Friday (must be reliable and able to set consistent work hours contingent upon class schedule)
