Work Environment 

We are looking for a CONTROL & INSTRUMENT ENGINEER in Thermal and Gas to support efficiently the expansion of our activities in Energy. You will be responsible for the technical consulting assignment and coordinate with all team members to provide deliverables at the highest quality standards within the agreed schedule. You will support not only projects and BD in the Thermal team but also supporting the other team in Tractebel Thailand to achieve their goal by using your best knowledge.

You will be integrated into the Tractebel Energy community, a worldwide network of Energy specialists keen on sharing their knowledge.

All your missions have to be performed with the highest standards of Quality / Safety / Legal / Ethics.



  • You will report to the VP of Thermal, T&D, Gas & Infrastructure. 
  • For any assigned project, you will provide support to the Project Manager of such project.
  • You share your expertise with your project team.
  • You will utilize your best knowledge of the mechanical system in the power plant process and any technical skills to support all assignments including but not limited to.
  • Power plant development projects (power plant conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, and technical support).
  • Lender engineer/Due diligence.
  • Owner's engineer projects.
  • Other Engineering projects.
  • Other assignments from VP Thermal, T&D, Gas & Infrastructure.

#Respect by Tractebel Thailand

  • 5 years of professional experience in the Energy or Petrochemical business.
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in an Engineering Discipline, preferred in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience in control and instrument of the power plant.
  • Good knowledge of various types of power plant processes.
  • Analytical skills for power plant root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently as required.
  • Dynamic, proactive, and independent. 
  • Relationship builder and great team player. 
  • Fluency in English and Thai.
